Cottonwood to Bright Angel CG

Day 8 (Day 4 of GC backpack) back down to Bright Angel CG. 11km, 460m loss.

The night before we had seen lights in dem dar hills & sure enough from our campsite you can see the lodge on the North Rim. Where?
See it now? Just right of center. Felt like it was in the wrong direction but using the map we confirmed that's what it was.
"Does this pack make my ass look fat??"

Been there.

Done that.
Sore feet from yesterday, thankfully the trail isn't too steep. Always interesting to do a trail at a different time of day & in a different direction. The steep canyon walls make one feel very insignificant cruising along in their shadows.
