CLD deadline

My Certified Landscape Designer (CLD) portfolio ready to go... finally... this thing was a lot of work. A LOT of work. So good feeling to get it done and off to the review commitee and now maybe I can go back to a little shooting in my free time instead of working on plans, photos, specs, and verbage for this project. Oh, yeah... I guess I'll just go back to plans, specs etc for my job now that its starting to get really busy again. Bummer. But I'll ride the high for getting this puppy done for as long as I can.

Fernie

Family ski trip to Fernie this past weekend. This is White Pass on our second day skiing with my Dad (71 and going strong... way to go Dad!) and Michael the snowboarder who spends part of his day in this pose because it's too hard to stand when stopped. Just one more reason why skiing is way cooler than boarding. If you see Michael tell him that these are 'ghost trees' and I didn't make up that term.

Incidentally these photos shot with our Canon SD600... If I'd had my Rebel then there would be some really cool tree shots, but with tons of fresh powder on a ten foot base today wasn't about shoot'n.

Nakiska

First time I've taken a camera skiing this year... groomed runs, no people... so not a lot of shoot'n, mostly skiing.
