Bail'n on Fable
"Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop." Ansel Adams
Ran across this quote today... for the last few years I've selected a 'best of the year' to spam (or bacn) out to my contacts. Apparently I was on to something. So in the not-to-distant-future look for the top twelve of 2007.
This isn't one of them... but it's a rare shot of me taken by one of my regular hiking partners, Peter "The Rock Lobster". This is bailing on the Mt. Fable traverse back in July. The easy way down. Yeah... this is what convinced me I needed to buy a scrambling helmet if I was going to keep messing around on these mountains.

Sunset over Jackson Lake
Rather than trying to pick a favorite shot from my recent trip to Grand Teton National Park I picked one that seemed to appeal to Shannon the most. Sunset over Jackson Lake from just below our campsite the day before heading out to backpack the Teton Crest.
Due to work obligations processing the photos from this trip is going S...L...O....W..... so, yeah... I'm starting to forget whatalls in these shots. Virtially this entire trip was shot in RAW format so must be processed. The plan is to process some of this seasons shots into HDR or black and white, just for fun... in all my free time. Wait for it.

Lucky
Coffee time... Messing around with ways of sharing photos with friends and family via the mighty web without the uber cluttered stuff of some sites (which shall remain nameless)... plus it has to be easy so I'll actually do it.
First post: my favorite picture of Lucky... After almost thirteen years with us she passed away this past July. I still expect her to come running when I open that damn gate.
